They're a finicky lot these voters!

This comp does seem to have a religious theme to it, personally I like number 6.

I voted for 3. I think it's beautiful, artistic and unusual. I wouldn't consider myself finicky - I just know what I like. Looks like a few others are of the same opinion as me, this time. :thumb:

I've been out of the country since September and am having severe withdrawal problems. Nicotine may be the most addictive substance known to man, but I miss it a hell of a lot less than I miss Thailand. So I voted for something more immediately Thai, and #8 pressed my buttons, especially the line of chilled water bottles in front of the monks.

no offence to the photographer of picture 3, but that was my reaction too :?
though i do think its a clever picture, i didnt expect it to steamroller the opposition
i went for number 8, a very neat, clear photo :thumb:

I went for 5, just like the abstract nature of it, kind of reminds me of a Queen video! :?

The very central figure on the bottom line seems to be having a bit of a laugh whilst really communicating with the camera - I'm just off to see the shrink!

Again it seems we have a runaway winner but 3 together for runner up so it looks like we need some more votes.

Will this be the last comp !? Interest is waning I fear.

I'm sorry to say but too much competitions in short time is not good. I think that once in two or three months is enough and if there is any rewards in the competition you should tell it in the beginning of the competition. Most of people (like me) think that glory is not enough.
I'm sorry to say this but I think that basicly we all are materialists.
Sorry my english, I hope you understand what I tried to say.

By the way i like this forum!

Ooh, careful - dangerously close to criticism there. Controversial and unwarranted opinions like that could hurt someone's feelings!

Alrighty, a couple of days late but its time to announce the winners:

1) Winner : Photo number 3 by JD

2) Runner up : Photo number 1 by huahinsimon

3) Third place : Photo number 8 by buksida

Will get them all into the Hall Of Fame shortly.

This will probably be the last comp for a while since as we've run out of HHAD shirts anyway!
