indeed, and as mentioned above, I was one of those who leapt to the wrong conclusion and on to my Soapbox.
I wasn't really against any individual but the social media world where people get the opinions from. It's easier to read something on the social media than to believe in scientific facts. That's what our world has come to and we all live in it.
Fully understand and agree BG - I should know far better!
The evidence that she has the XY chromosome is from a Russian report that said she had been genetically tested and proven to have it. This evidence has never been published (the IBA refused to comment) or verified, and of course the Russians had bitter grapes in their mouth as she beat their woman.
As to whether or not she has the DSD condition, that would anyway make her unsuitable to compete against women with only an 'X' chromosome.
The only answer is genetic testing cross the board for all female athletes. I believe that those with nothing to hide would benefit from and should support this.
Really dirty play by Indian player, deliberate stick to the head. India get a red card in the second quarter. A player down for the rest of the match plus he will have to face the authorities after the match.
404cameljockey - what is your coverage of the hockey like? The AIS coverage is abysmal. Sound on/sound off throughout. The last time I saw a score come up it was 1-1 at half-time. Camera keeps panning to crowd - really awful.
Everything else I've watched has been spot on, but this game is totally attrocious.

Penalty shoot out as 1-1 at full time. GB pedestrian with 11 against 10 for more than half of the match. Just like English football, just playing it across the pitch waiting, waiting....
AIS is free. Everything else has been spot on. The trend in this game is sound on for live, and off for replays. I was was wondering because I doubt there will be many feeds coming from the games i.e. it won't be an AIS feed. Coverage is still attrocious. What is the score please? And which quarter are we in? I think I noticed 1-2 on the scoreboard in the corner of the stadium, but don't have a clue who is winning.

Brilliant performance by the Thai in the men's Badminton semi. Guaranteed a silver and 1st ever in badders.
I've followed Thailand all the way through the badminton and sad to miss this because of GB hockey. It was a poor choice on my part based on lack of checking the schedule. Well done Thailand!
It was a tremendous last two days in the golf and Tommy Fleetwood brings home silver. An awful chip on the 17th stopped him from going down the 19th with Sheffler who takes the gold.

And Tommy is a great chipper so maybe it was tougher than it looked on TV or he felt the pressure?
