Jest I know, but come on - I understand exactly where BB is coming from, especially regards to San Francisco. I'm guessing you haven't visited, but even post 2000 it changed for the worse, so unfortunately you won't get to see it at it's best.

Anywho - it would be great to see HH's Parade and attitude being somewhat close to what I remember of San Fran.

I can remember when I first used to come to Hua Hin, the "girls" from the ladyboy show used to have there own pride parade every night, they used to walk around the town dressed like they were at the Moulin Rouge early every evening.

But that was just to drum up customers for their show, which they held somewhere over the Petch Road. I went once, with about a dozen others in the audience. It was very tedious.

Yes, I never went, after that they moved down town, I think it was down near what became Panama bar. I just remember them parading around town every night with a lot of feathers!

I have been in contact with Bluport, trying to work out the route the parade will take from Bluport. The best I can make out is the route will stay on Petchkasem Road, passing the end of Soi 94, and doing a U-turn when it reaches Soi 88.

On topic but not. Specific genders came up in class today (very much the leading topic in Western LBGTQ protest). I continued with answers that aren't from the deranged narcissist's handbook. "Boy or girl. Man or woman. You can do any job you like children".

Any teacher adding 'other' telling/confusing children that they can be a different gender.... jail time you twisted fk.😆

The parade didn’t go past the end of my Soi as I first thought, but I’d already decided I would go if the weather was good. As threatened, I took a few snaps.

The parade was scheduled to start at 3pm. Of course, 3pm in Thailand means nothing. At various stages whilst waiting, we went for an ice-cream, went to the beach, went to look at the Market Village Pet Show and did some shopping.

At 4:45pm we went to the Market Village pedestrian footbridge for a final look to see if anything was happening. We could see a little activity in the distance, and used the power of zoom to be doubly sure. It was happening, so we waited.

As with all parades in Thailand, it was lead by a marching band from Phetchaburi. They made a nice sound as they approached.

Behind the band were the hosts from yesterday’s Miss Universe Thailand (MUT) competition held at the Amari Hotel. The main guest being Anntonia Porsild, who was 1st Runner-Up Miss Universe 2023 – she gave me a nice smile and a wave.

Following the hosts were all of the contestants from yesterday’s MUT. They were on foot, and the walk from Bluport to Market Village was enough for them – they all diverted into Market Village for photos and interviews.

The rest of the parade went past us, heading North, and was very colourful – nothing outrageous as I expected.

Indeed, looks like a pleasant event. Only saw one picture showing the new flag paraded in the west which is great. The old flag was already all inclusive 'for everyone'. The new flag is nothing to do with 'live and let live', it's something else entirely.

May I ask, BB, did you dress up all colourful yourself?

I know you're joking but why would he need to do it? Why can't we let people do and enjoy what they enjoy to do. Even with you lost, I have learnt to accept that you support a team out of ordinary. :D
