How long would a (married to farang) Thai lady have to wait before applying for UK passport?
It used to be that you could apply after 3 years, but there was a waiting list of up to a further 2 years after that. However, I know the law has changed recently, and I suggest you look here http://www.ind.homeoffice.gov.uk/applying/nationality/. The biggest stumbling block these days is the Life in the UK test, which to date, I have never known a Thai lady pass - I'm sure they have, but I don't know them. Every Thai lady I know who has tried, has either failed, or walked out when they saw the questions.

I have to be honest, I have lived in the UK for over 50 years, and I don't know the answers to a lot of the questions.
