It was Buksida, one of the moderators that re-opened the thread, for valid reasons, as it was in the news following the failed appeal, by the convicted Paedophile.

Seems strange that many forum members demand reasons why people post. Do everyone need to seek your permission?

Yeah, whatever Winkie, but it has made things confusing recently and I'm not having a pop at anyone specifically.....just generally as there have been others than have been guilty of it in the recent past and wasn't obviously suggesting Buks was some sort of villain as that would be ridiculous dude.

This happened 5 years ago, so no, I wouldn't say it's a regular thing in Hua-Hin.

A British Columbia man convicted in Thailand for sexually abusing children has been set free in Canada, but a judge has imposed strict public safety conditions on the pedophile once dubbed Swirl Face. Christopher Neil must be watched for the next 18 months to prove he’s not a danger, provincial court Judge Patrick Chen ruled Wednesday in Richmond, B.C.

But it's interesting because I know a *suspected* American paedophile living in HH at the moment. He also had a pro-paedophilia website for awhile and wrote many articles justifying adult-on-child sex and describing his own experiences. He took the site down after a friend got arrested for child molesting in Pattaya but you can still see the pages---including the kiddie photos----if you put the url in the web archive search on www . archive . org. He's in a lawsuit with that friend right now, who supposedly owes him money for trying to help him avoid facing the child rape charges in the U.S. The friend is in a Mexican jail still waiting. Anyway, his *rational views* about paedophilia are on his blog and YouTube channel, he doesn't try and hide it. Can't name names here but just Google "hua hin thailand" and "paedophile" and some info shows up that may or may not be accurate, but once you get his name and website name, then Google or plug into www . archive . org to see his own words on the subject.
