As temperatures soared as high as 42 degrees, one Hua Hin resident had to look for a quick solution to keep cool as the air con had packed up in the condo. :P

Mrs Jones, returning early from work, finally understood why the babysitter never had a problem with junior.

We've entered the silly season now, and 2 judges are on leave this week. However, despite that, we have a first this week ie the first time every judge has agreed on which entry should take first place (and one of the few weeks that I actually agree with their marking). This week's top 5 are:

5th Jimbob with "Kev's girlfriend said he was boring and needed to take in some culture. Now he was sure he had seen some growing in the bottom of the fridge" (19 Points)

4th Arcadian with "Baby Bonnington scales the lower slopes hoping to get to the frozen northern section by tea-time.'' (21 Points)

3rd Frank Hoviswith "Prior to the invention of Calpol, methods to reduce an infants fever were somewhat hit & miss" (27 Points)

2nd bubbly with "Two foot tall engineers are employed to check out the latest batch of BEKO fridges!!!!" (31 Points)

1st place goes to kalbow with "After 30 years of continuous service the little man who turned off and on the light decided to call it quits!" (48 Points)

Thank you very much to all who participated. Better luck next time to those who didn't win.

kalbow you now have until 23:59 on 17 Jul 11 to post the next entry. Competition results will be announced on 22 Jul 11.

Thanks Big Boy - the pic of the little guy in the fridge took me about 30 seconds to think of a caption, the week before (the cheerleader + hose) I couldn't think of anything!

Anyway, try this one on for size....
