I thought it would be a bit of fun to have a weekly caption competition. The rules are simple:
- I will post the first photo.
- Forum members can post apt captions to accompany the photo.
- There is no limit to the number of posts a member can make in any week.
- Every Friday, I as our resident judge (I'm very keen for a long term member to take on the role of judge, but will do the job initially - volunteers please PM me), will select the week’s best caption.
- The prize for the winner will be to post the following week’s photo.
- All members (except the judge) are eligible to participate in the competition, although the judge may make non-competing contributions.
- Only winners can post the next week’s photo. If no photo has been posted within 48 hours of victory, the winner will forego his/her prize, and I will post the following week’s photo.
- Ineligible photos posted (by non-winners) will be edited out by moderators.
This is only intended as a bit of fun, so come on and join in the fun - the funnier the better.
