I use Opera as my standard browser, like it, especially the layout and the speed dial start up etc.
To be honest though I think it's good, if you can/want to spare the space they take up, to have a couple of browsers on the computer so you can have a choice.
I have IE8, Opera and Firefox on.
Reason is, some of them still have the odd glitch/bug etc but are obviously being addressed in updates.
For example, the new versions of Firefox are getting a bit wonky with Windows XP unless the XP version is the 2009 or 2010 Java script etc updated ones, but Opera doesn't seem to mind at all.
IE9 only works with Windows 7 and it won't be long before IE8 becomes completely outdated and just cannon fodder for nasties, just a default browser really IMO.
However, I tried to print off my UK bank statement from the Internet banking site the other day with Opera and a Cannon printer and it just froze saying it (Opera) was having 'Spooling' problems and wasn't responding, not possible. Then tried to print it off with IE8 and it just went through with no dramas.
But
Pharvey, I too much prefer Opera to any of the others and is widely regarded as being the fastest for any mobile platforms too. Don't think you'll have any issues with it though, been using it for almost a year and no dramas.
