Re: The AI (artificial intelligence) thread
Wherever you look you can see examples of the “bad guys” trying to find a way around the system, so AI will be no different - as one loophole is closed, the bad guys will be looking for the next crack to chisel away at - just look at car security, it’s a never ending game of cat and mouse!!

Re: A Medical Emergency in Hua Hin
Oh dear BB, this isnt going to end well - but we already knew that. But it's quite a relief to hear it started with an accident. Edit. Sorry, just to ask, did you not have your hospital card with you? Notwithstanding the fact they were asking for your passport. During April I ended up in A&E tw...

Re: What is going rate for Health Insurance?

Based on the quotes I received when having to take c...

Re: Thai Driving License renewal 2019 to 2025
They should be far more concerned with the issue of driving licence’s for Thai nationals rather than foreigners - the vast majority of who would have been subject to a far more vigorous test than applies here!!

Re: Football (not Premier League)
From what I’ve seen, most of the clubs that have received significant financial input from the “Sugar Daddies” run at a loss, certainly in the Premier League, more teams made a loss in 23-24 than made a profit

Re: Retirement Extension - Can I Book a Home Visit?
Thanks guys. I was considering one option to ask an agent. I've also been considering the 'sending my son' route. Migrant's solution sounds very similar, although it does seem the solution might be out there. I was just hoping that I can't be the only Retiree to suffer an unfortunate accident, and ...

Re: Electric Vehicles (EV) Thread
I’m guessing that photo is a few years old Steve? I worked in Saudi 20 years ago and driving through the Eastern Province this was a familiar sight. Although I believe it still goes on (as a safety measure) moves have been made in recent years to reduce the incidence of “flare-off”, so hopefully thi...
