pool pump breake down

Hi
After 3 years my pool pump (astral saltwater system) broke down and deer pool says a new pump is 22.000!
In Europe a pump is between 100 and 350 euro. My pool is very small, 6x3x1,6 so about 2900m3.
Any suggestions?

pal system

Only because of my curiousity: what makes that TV so special? nothing speical, an old one, but during construction I ordered 4 cable connections, and to control if they are working it is handy to have a small portable tv handy, instead of hopping around with the only one huge flatscreen to which al...

tv system in Hua Hin

I have a tv in Europe I do not use any more. I'm planning to install it in one of my Hua Hin bedrooms. First I have to know the tv system in Thailand, PAL, C-cam. Who knows more about it?

Here's some pictures of a system from Australia. A friend carried two as checked luggage and went through the green line and was not questioned. Luck perhaps. The cost in Baht was 32,000. The Deluxe model shown has a timer to coordinate to come on when your filter timer comes on. There is one bette...

Hurm, You will find lots more detailed info by doing a google search and also on the swimming pool section of another popular thai forum. Salt water chlorinators are very popular in Australia - as a guide here they cost from about 45,000 baht for a 60,000 litre model. May be cheaper to import one y...

salt water system CPSC serie Compu Pool products

In the future I will install a salt water system for my pool. After studying the options I think I go for the self cleaning system of the Compu Pool CPSC system. My pool is 6x3x1,60m. Which one do I need, where to buy in or around Hua Hin, Costs?

Is this the side of the watermeter or the side of the tank/pumt connection? Meanwhile I have read a lot on this site: thaivisa. they have a lot of forums on all kind of topics and also on pumps. :thumb: First you will have the meter, then the tank, thereafter the pump followed by any filter and sof...

You would be well advised to go to lawyers in Bangkok, for the reasons stated by many on this thread. As to Notary costs, I followed up the recommendation on this thread and went to P & A on 2nd Floor (Old) Supermarket building and was charged a total of Bht1,000 for two documents in this past ...

One thing more about the water supply. When installing a booster pump and a tank ensure that the tank is fitted with a flow switch that cuts of the power to the pump should the tank for one reason or another run dry. This will prevent damages to the pump. If a filtering system is installed then it ...

you are all very helpfull. Maybe I should take a look at Big Kiang? I heard they have a lot of experience and a lot of tanks and pumps. On this forum people are not very pleased with machinery delivered by homepro. I asked a Thai guy last time what the best powerpumps were and he answered a Mitsubis...

Are you using water from the municipal supply or does it come from a well ? First check the obvious before looking to install a tank or booster pump - the pipes or shower hoses could be blocked by small stones or grit as can the filters on the shower head or heater inlet pipe - especially if there'...
