Now, this might sound a bit odd, but I promise you I'm not kidding.
There's a strange light in the sky over HH.
It looks a bit like a very bright star, but it's flashing red every now and then.
It also looks like a plane, but it ain't moving (my little Font of Wisdom pointed it out to me and said it's been there for an hour or so).
I'm south of town, and I'm looking northwestish.
I did get a bit too much sun today, but can anyone else see it? Preferably with an idea of what it might be?
Am I entering the Twilight Zone...?

It's not Mars, norseman. It has moved, very slowly, further north. Originally I wondered if it was one of those amazing paper balloony things, but it was too visible from too far away and has lasted way too long. The latest theory here is that it's a gas balloon of some kind...
(crazy, I don't mean to be bullish, I just can't help myself sometimes. Apparently it's in my jeans.)

That would be the one .Paid the lady a couple of months ago upon arrival .returned to car and went to leave .The mutant came up to me and jabbed his fingers at his ticket book .Told him in Thai politely that I had already paid the lady .I started to drive off and he punched my car .I continued pulling out and he chased the car .I,and he gradually picked up a little speed and then I slammed the brakes on. He barreled into the back of the car and bounced off ranting . I wound down the window,gave him a wai and asked what was wrong . He clearly wanted a physical confrontation ,waving his fists etc . so I stepped out of the car . I ended up chasing him round the car park which was quite amusing after a while .He is now as nice as pie to me but STILL makes me move a quarter of an inch for some reason every time I try ank park correctly .
At least he does not blow a whistle constantly and has not scraped a key down the side of the car .

temple parking
Of my three possible favorite parking spots in town, the temple has never been one. The fat attendant looks unfriendly to begin with and I think I parked there once years ago.
It is nice to hear of real encounters (of the third kind??)with him as I had considered parking in there the other day. Now I just wont consider it any further.
