Guest House Recommendation in Hua Hin- Farang Reply

Post by dannywla »

Having always stayed at 4-5 star properties, my wife and I are planing on staying in Hua Hin a few days in the first week of November.

I would like a place that is the best, price not being that important, location, view(ocean) and security is my criteria.

Please make recommedations and I will follow up and proceed from there.

Thanks for your candid input : )

Try Nerne Chalet at Khao Takiab - small hotel/guesthouse, very friendly, nice restaurant and great pool. :D
Manager is Ex Oriental Hotel and treats you better than 5 Star.
About 1800 - 2000 baht, not cheap cheap but alot less than 5 Star prices and a nice transition, if you usually pay heaps.
Walking distance to good food and sights.
Good Luck

if you want to be a little bit out of town....5 km south of Cha Am and 18km north of HH on a very nice beach....google CasaPapaya and see what you think. There is small five star hotel(Veranda) just a few metres away with beautiful beach bar, plenty of good restaurants nearby and the beach not full of horses or sea with noisy vehicles. CasaPapay has perhaps 14 rooms painted out in a colorful southwest american motif...u could roll out of bed onto the beach. Operated by the owners who were quite friendly to me and i only wanted to look at the place. If I didn't own a condo down the beach I'd definitely stay there .

I know the place, only set back: you need wheels for about everything.
