Oh don't be silly, Pietro, we were just toying with them. Besides, nobody wants to see a non-league team humiliated. Why do you think Ange played Werner?pharvey wrote: ↑Mon Jan 13, 2025 1:32 amWas that before or after FT against part-timers then?dtaai-maai wrote: ↑Sun Jan 12, 2025 10:14 pm Tamworth 0-3 Spurs. If we’re all honest, it was Spurs who were nearly humiliated at the end of normal time and it wouldn’t have been an injustice if they’d have lost.
Elsewhere there was plenty of drama in the Arsenal-Man Utd game, especially over the penalty award when Maguire was judged to have fouled Havertz (IMO Harvertz clearly cheating) so justice was done when the keeper made an excellent save and then despite going down to 10 men managed to hang on and win with penalties.

Re: FA Cup 2024/25
The Colonel asked about Havertz cheating - well IMO, he went down far too easily and was therefore looking for a penalty, knowing there was no VAR to check the decision. Maguire did put his hand out and made contact with Havertz, but I don’t think there was nearly enough contact to make it a “clear and obvious” penalty!!
Re: FA Cup 2024/25
^ Never a pen. Blatant dive by Havertz, justice served with the save.

I turned off after the 90. Not a chance in hell was i gonna witness a Tamworth win if it were to happen.dtaai-maai wrote: ↑Sun Jan 12, 2025 10:14 pm Tamworth 0-3 Spurs. Magnificent performance. Never in doubt!!![]()
I don't trust children. They're here to replace us.

I watched the Arsenal vs Man U game on Bein. They didn't start broadcasting until the Spurs game was over, so I watched the 3 goals by default.

Caught up highlights
Ive seen worse dives but it was a dive nonetheless
Arsenal were guilty of other such diving and play acting such as when the Utd player got sent off plus another penalty appeal.
Ps why did Arsenal play in all white especially when Utd were in navy blue? No clash there...

They didn't play in red to highlight the dangers of knife crime.thecolonel wrote: ↑Mon Jan 13, 2025 1:18 pm

Yes, I didn't catch it probably, but if you read the advertising hoardings, the was something about 'No to Red'.
