RIP Member T.I.G.R.

Post by migrant »

Long time member T.I.G.R. who hasn't posted much in recent years passed away earlier this week.

I had the pleasure of knowing him outside the forum and considered him one of my best friends. He was a avid golfer, sports fanatic, diet coke lover and a US navy veteran. He was instrumental in Mrs M and I moving to Thailand. He, and I, had similar backgrounds although he was 13 years older. He lived in California many years and was an accountant.

R.I.P. my friend.

My condolences to you migrant. Remember him being a frequent poster before. Tough losing a friend.

Sad news, I remember T.I.G.R.'s posts in the past but didn't know him. I'll echo "lost's" thoughts in that it's difficult to lose a great friend - which obviously he was to you. You truly have my sympathy as you do of all Mods and I'm sure the Forum.

I feel your loss. Making a very close friend in a foreign land is a bond which is special. I was lucky enough to do it in the UAE and we still talk every day 9 years later, meeting very rarely but never forgotten. So sorry, and RIP to T.I.G.R who is now in the clubhouse in the sky.
