Mahjong

Post by Bamboo Grove »

Anybody who knows how to play Mahjong? I have a set but as it's more than 20 years since I've played it, I can't recall all the rules. Of course they can be found on the net but it would be more fun to have a real game every now and then.

I played this a long time ago with real partners, and also more recently on a computer version. A bit rusty on the format but would give it a go. Maybe we can have a Mah Jong vs Diplomacy battle? :D

Unfortunatey am in Bangkok. Also haven't played for more than twenty years. Ohhh, those overnight sessions back in $pore - when I was still single :) . Noisy game, though. Not all the neighbours appreciated it.

Hey Bamboo Grove,
I use to play every week before moving to Hua Hin. I'd be very interested if you still want another to make up the four. :P 8)

I was practising yesterday. First time ever, on the computer and I just didn't get it. How do two players play?
I understand the basic concepts - from the computer.
