Does HuaHin have a car accessories shop? My first priority is a battery charger/ emergency starter then a dash cam. I tried the search function to no avail. Thanks in anticipation.

you can buy battery chargers in Thai Watsadu, but not sure about dash cams

Dash cams can be purchased at the shops selling cell phones at Market Village 3rd floor. Personally I have purchased 3 through Lazada online for much less. FYI don't go for the package deals that offer a free mSD card. They are usually not class 10 for video. Class 10 cards are very cheap at market Village.

Thanks guys,I got the starter /charger and jump leads in Thai Watsadu plus a mains tyre inflater ( I can't fathom out the one I tried at the petrol station! ) I'll get the dash cam on Lazada as suggested. Great advice as always.

I am looking to get an intelligent charger and foresee having to use Lazada as not seen any here. Has anyone ventured into the car place on Petkasem northbound I think after Venezia but not sure. We could do with a halfords type place but it is unlikely as it seems that only daft Foreigners work on their cars/trucks themselves

You can buy "Ctex" battery chargers in Bangkok at the following. Both the owner and his son speak good English, but they are not always there. They will post them to you, and pay by ATM transfer.
