Post by pisacheng »

Hi all,

I open a shop with my husband around a month ago and i was wondering if shops in Hua Hin open on King's Birthday and Constitution Day generally since my stuffs told me most shops are close on those days but i found it better to ask expats living in HH for advice :)

Thanks!

Most businesses are open. Alcohol is usually not allowed to be sold but this generally only applies to the bars and places like 7/11, Tesco and etc. At Mom and Pop shops, it's business as usual, with many locals buying even more alcohol than usual to celebrate the event. Regular businesses are not affected at all.

We are running a furniture shop here so i took your advice and sitting in the shop now. However the staffs choose to stay home so i guess we are on our own on every public holiday then :banghead:
Thanks anyway :D
