The Bangkok Commute

Post by Terry »

Well - it's approaching Friday evening and it's soon time to hit the road to Hua Hin for the weekend.

BUT

It's been pi55ing with rain for 24 hours now, so it's likely to be a bugger of a journey with the usual high speed stupidity from the van drivers and pick-ups in inclement conditions.

Oh well - I'll just have to put my hazard lights on and act like a Christmas Tree - I'll be safe then

Be careful out there

Not sure whereabouts in Bangkok you are Terry but it's been the same here on the outskirts (heading towards Ratchaburi). It has downgraded itself to a light drizzle over the last couple of hours but I don't doubt that it has another downpour left in it yet. Certainly not going to make for fun driving.

Have a safe trip.

Thanks for the update.

Light drizzle or not - the fact is, the roads are wet ad greasy and sorry to say that many drivers here simply do not understand that that equals dangerous.
