I've been over here for so long I didn't even know this company existed. Being a Mustang nut the show about Roush on Discovery Turbo last night had me glued. I know, not everyone shares my enthusiasm for American muscle cars, or Mustangs, but I grew up with them so I'm hopelessly addicted. Enjoy the website, what they do to a stock Mustang is incredible. American muscle cars, cheap, and fast in a straight line and over the last couple of years they have even designed in the ability to turn a corner at speed, something they have sadly lacked in the past.
Now all they have to do, is improve build quality.
Think I will stick to Jags, The new E Type supercharged V8 is just out and the wheel is on the correct side in them.
I've lost my mind and I am making no effort to find it.
New jag is called the f type, first talked about in the early 2000s. It was a stunning prototype but didn't happen. Top model is powered by nearly 500 horses......yummy:-)
They were putting big blocks in the cars grope long time before McQueen, v8s came in just after ww2 and stock cart racing came a bit after. Can't beat the rumble of a big v8. :-)

Maybe, but I remember watching Bullet as a star struck 17 year old and thinking how cool is that to do wheel spins at 50 mph, when I had a Morris Minor 948 cc that could do about the same speed flat out!!
The first muscle car I remember was In Smokey and The Bandit in a 6.6 Pontiac Firebird, the black and gold paint job - that was my dream car for years (I think I was 5 years old when i saw it on VHS!). Years later I discovered that it had around 200bhp and wasnt very fast at all!

To hell with speed What it lacked in speed, it made up for in looks.
The best car I've ever owned was my old 4.1 liter, straight 6 Chev Elcomino pickup, and the best thing of all was the fact that you could carry out all your own repairs.
Don't try to impress me with your manner of dress cos a monkey himself is a monkey no less - cold fact
