For anybody thinking about this machine, I've had one for 18 months as well, although mine gets used every day. Easy to use and makes a good cup of coffee (assuming you use descent beans) so would have no hesitation in recommending this. BTW, I have no idea who tonyt is, just giving my view of the machine.

Thanks for the product endorsement Dannie. I have used it a few times, and it always made a decent cup of coffee. I just don`t use it enough to cover the investment of over 700 quid, so I thought I would cut my losses.

As for the query as to who I am; a simple Welsh peasant far from home is the most direct answer. Interested in the procurement of "Descent Coffee", is this the higher or lower slopes?

I know it was really a typo!!!!! :D

The trouble with word prediction, it doesn't identify an obvious error, anyway as I descend from my  I will go and make myself a decent cup of coffee.

BTW, £700 is a serious amount of money for the machine - I bought mine when working in Abu Dhabi and thought that the equivalent of £400 was a lot, but knew they would be more expensive here as well as difficult to source!!

Or one could order a new from Luxembourg for 172.5 euros (6870 thb). I wonder how much shipping and duty would be? http://www.shop-cabares.com/en/31-sieme ... 54001.html Seems like whenever I google for the new price on an automated espresso machine most of the usual places have none in stock, while the ones that are usually offering them at deep discount. What's up with that? And why don't I have anything better to do this afternoon?
