We need get the car serviced, last couple of years has been going to Mazda, problem is they want us to take it to pranbury each time. What I would like to find is a good local garage. Or mechanic. Anyone know of someone in Hua Hin

L services on the left-hand side of Petchkasem just before the traffic lights north of the palace as you drive north. No recent experience, but they were reliable and fair a few years ago.

The Shell garage on Pekky-Rd does services..I used to take the old Nissan there 'cos I wanted good oil in the old-girl..always got Shell Helix.
I use a man now up the Pala-U Rd..I think it's the last OLD shop-house style building on your right..coupla 100m after Casa-Mia, & Luk-Naam Pab (immediatly before a small Rd off to the right). Don't be put off by the black oil-stained floor, the small trucks being worked on, or the fact he speaks little English..he's a good honest guy. (take your teerak to explain the work needed). Plus IMO he's never overcharged me yet.
