Right George..do ya know HH streets n roads?? :?
You (if not sorted already this is)..wanna be going up Chomsin Road, over the rail-tracks, and when the bulk of the traffic peels off to the right..you need to carry straight on.
A coupla hundred yds on your left you'll find a Chinese Buddha shop jam-packed with buddha stuff, around here look across to the right side of the road and there's a double-fronted shophouse that mends fridges, fans, AND washers. :thumb:
(They ARE closed sometimes when I pass, but only for 1 day) Hope this helps you or anyone else on here..

The place on Chomsin road is doing a repair business but only for certain brands of washing machine. For example, we went up there to ask him about fixing our Samsung washing machine (it's not emtying the water so missing a cycle) but he couldnt (or wouldnt) even contemplate that as he said that Samsung parts were difficult to find here. We are still looking for someone else that can do it - funny thing is, if we were still in Bangkok we would have no problem at all as we had the same thing fixed on another machine while we were there. We only just moved down here 3 months ago and are finding it really difficult to adjust to certain things and ways of Hua Hin, like the attitude of the people in a lot of the shops/restaurants, lack of service's, etc. and dont even get me started on the quality of driving! I thought that bangkok people were bad drivers but these people, especially the motorbikes, dont even look where they are going! Ahh well, at least my Son (7 years old) is happy in his new school - Somtawin huaymongkon. Thats the main thing, eh! Keep the children happy.

Is that so? Most of the ones in Thailand have a coin slot, but it does not take direct deposits.
