Pest Control Company?

Does anyone have a good pest control company that will work on an on-call basis or a contract with infrequent visits. We have been happy with the one we are using (Galaxy) but for some reason they insist on a one year contract with monthly visits. I have asthma due to allergies and know they use dangerous poisons and chemicals and I think monthly spraying is overkill (pun intended) anyway.

I would like to find one that will come every three months instead and that I can pay for by the visit or even one that will give me an annual contract for fewer visits with longer intervals in between.

Yes, he came out and gave me a demonstration.

Seems to know his business well, and comes with high recommendations all round so I guess the proof is in the pudding, but I'm still at a loss as to understanding how something that a human can drink (without harm) will kill some of the heartiest insects on earth like cockroaches, ants, and termites.

yes Big Steve is ya man. Im not sure if the ant spray kills ants or just keeps them away , but it does the job.

that's the sort of person i need, i hate friggin' ants especially the little blighters that get everywhere. We had Rentokil for 3years then last year it was Galaxy but there is no let-up in them.
I'll have to see if he can get along and kill these orrible little mufrs....

I can see where it's possible. Look at the example of what happens if you feed a dog chocolate. No, it won't die in all cases, but it will in many cases. I think there is a lot of stuff in nature that is toxic to one species and not others. Pete

Thx, it probably would have been better PM the email so that it doesn't get anyone into probs. A couple of other BMs did this.
Got in contact with him and he's already been round and done the biz...quick and efficient.

Mods- might be an idea to move Steve's email out of the line of fire, so it doesn't cause any issues?
