Due to the expected influx of forum members over the coming months, and suggestions about a gathering on another thread, JW has kindly agreed to his hallowed Bar premises being inundated by those of us present in HH on Thursday 28th October.
Tatties and mince are a distinct possibility - no doubt lovingly served by his bevvy of beautiful wenches. (Or more likely by a call of 'grubs up come and get it')
So get yerselves out on the town for a change and let's all ID each other. Don't miss this wonderful opportunity to take the Boxing Ring into JW's and party on down

Or just have a quiet civilised chat - whatever floats your boat

Margaret, I have compiled the names of those who will be in HH in October. More would be undeclared or just watching. As Buksi implies, the more you you organise, the more risk of failure.
So I fly out home the evening the 'frolic' is on. May we meet somewhere in HH sometime. (Frolic equals 50's rave party?)
Maybe also nominate also a week earlier (21th) at JWs for those who wish an informal meet?
All those with laptops under trench coats, lurking in JWs, would recognise each other quickly.

Disappointed, we arrive on 4-5/10 and leave 21-22/10. Return around 8/12-mid Jan.

Thank you for sorting that list Jimbob! Clearly impossible to please all the people all the time. I won't get to HH until about 14th/15th Oct, and the only really free nights at JW's are Mondays and Thursdays.
So will stick with 28th and try to muster more troops - I was hoping that someone else would arrange similar for early January, which seems to be another peak time.
Ideally of course a regular monthly date for drifters would be good.....

It's a bit of nightmare to set up by the looks of things. Good luck with that.

I say I'm 6 weeks in HH but can't nail down if I'm nipping up to the boondocks or even an excursion to Pattaya, up to me neither but I suppose you have to give a bit of leeway.

We can do any night, just the pool table is taken on Wednesdays and Fridays, darts on tuesdays, if changing to weekends works better thats no problem, just football can get in the way!

If there is a decent number of people around I will get the pots and pans out! LOL

Hi guys anyone up for it on the 6 of January we fly in on the 3rd of January but we are going up to Bangkok on the following Saturday for a bit of shopping and a flight on Sunday up to Surin, so on my first visit time is limited but will be back later.

I really wish to meet more of you guys around town.

Staying with Peter and Jing so right in the centre of town and up for a good few beers my wife will be quite pregnant by then and of need of some early nights and tlc but i am sure we can make a good evening with a little more interest.

Mags as some of us will miss your planned frolic can you please post some pics for those of us that wished we could make it.

Can I just ask please for anyone trying for a January meet up to start a separate topic? And could the mods please help out here by adding 'October' to my topic title? Sorry should have thought about that but it would keep events more clear
