Champions League 2010 / 2011

Post by caller »

Might as well start the ball rolling for the coming season.

Celtic crash out at first hurdle to Portuguese side FC Braga and now have to go into a play-off to qualify for the Europa League. That'll cost them a few quid. It has to be said that Scottish football is at an all-time low at the moment and this is a bad start to the season for footy north of the border.

Can't see a way up for them either?

Spurs play with Young Boys. :naughty:

Swiss outfit Young Boys stand in Tottenham's way of a place in the lucrative group stage of the UEFA Champions League.

Spurs lost 2-3, good recovery though, should be too good for the choir boys in the return leg! :D

Yeah, amusing while it lasted though.

I would think Spurs will get through but Young Boys certainly look capable of scoring an away goal.

Entertaining match that.

Not for me it wasn't. I smell another Portsmouth fa cup semi over confidence scenario coming on.

On another note you could see that the astro turf was the issue with the spurs team, they could not control the ball and that is a valid excuse!

it shouldn't be allowed in any competition, it does have a distinct advantage for the home team.
on another note, they did win at fenerbache in the last round.

at 3-0 down you looked doomed but a 3-2 defeat away from home in the CL is actually a pretty good result.
hopefully a good performance at WHL will ensure a place in the main competition . . . . . . . . for young boys that is

Are Liverpool in this :neener:

Or looking outside in :neener: :rasta: :neener:

Next season maybe or may not be. :neener:

Liverpool needs a real manager not an Englishman plucked from the "maybe a manager" in the future.

What has he done, come on lads.

Tell me l am wrong.

Well done the mighty Spurs. Bit of a scare there guys!! 4-0 against them is the way it should have looked the first time round!

Didn't get to see the game as it was on at silly o' clock but's made my day reading the 'Sun' this morning.

COYS

"Spurs are on their way to wembley........"  :run:
If it's within arms reach, there's nothing to worry about!!
