Question to pet lovers - please help!

Dear Hua Hin pet lovers1
Our dog got very sick recently and the vet said it has happened due to the ticks bites. We are using Front Line and he is wearing the tick/flea colar but nothing seems to be working. The dog is a German Shepherd and he is long haired so it's very difficult to keep ticks away. Also the front line available at local vets is for the dogs upto 40 kg and he is biger so it might be not strong enough.
If someone knows and can recommend effective method to keep ticks away and also reliable, efficient and pet-friendly pest contol service we woulc be very greatful! Thanks a lot!
