booking a condo for one month in jan.

I'm coming for my second visit to HH in mid. Jan for a month.Should I book a condo now, or wait until I arrive to get a cheaper deal? ( Got one story of a very nice on the beach condo. that was listed for 50,000 for the month last Jan.; couple went there on arrival and got it for 30,000).

Basically the question is have you seen a big drop in visitors due to recession, and are condo owners hurting enough to drop prices?
