They've had 3-4 different stages. In front of the railway station, next to Red Cross hospital, between Sofitel and Central Village and on the beach. Starts on Fridays and lasts for three days. Food and beer available at all venues. Good fun and good music.

The big sign I just drove under on Petchkasem road did say "Hua Hin Jazz Festival 2005 - 3rd to 5th June"
And now re-checking the link it looks like the Dusit have changed their web page after their previous cock up.

All that jazz
It's hard to believe that the once-unknown Hua Hin Jazz festival _ which takes place next weekend _ is now in its forth year and is also an annual event music fans all over an annual event music fans all over the country are yearning for. The free music-by-the-beach festival, which has been listed as one of the Tourism Authority of Thailand's Grand Festivals, draws tourists and music aficionados alike to the serene resort town with quality performances by local and international artists over three jazzy evenings.
This year's festival, dubbed "Heineken Jazz Festival Hua Hin 2005", will delight jazz fans with vibrant performances by 12 Thai groups and three international performers during the weekend of June 3-5. Among them are Prode Thanapat, Jiraphan Ansavananda, Koh Mr. Saxman, The Infinity, Mansri, as well as two time Grammy Award winner John Pattitucci from New York and Randy Cannon from Seattle.
Though there will be only two main stages _ the park stage on Damnernkasem road and the beach stage in front of the Sofitel Central Hua Hin hotel _ the overall event is guaranteed to be even better, with a superb sound system, nicely set concert venues, a unified performing concept. Besides, it will be the first ever free music festival in Thailand that features a Grammy Award winning artist.
As part of an ongoing effort to boost Hua Hin's profile on the international tourism map, and also to promote jazz music to the greater public, the festival is being organised by the Hua Hin Hoteliers Club and sponsored by Heineken with support from the TAT, the Municipality of Hua Hin-Cha Am and the Hua Hin Tourist Association.
To make the holiday even sweeter and smoother for musically enthusiastic vacationers, the Hilton Hua Hin Resort & Spa (tel 032-512-888), Sofitel Central Hua Hin Resort (tel 032-512-021), Hua Hin Marriott Resort & Spa (tel 032-511-881), Hyatt Regency Hua Hin (tel 032-521-231), Anantara Resort & Spa (tel 032-520-250) and Evason Hua Hin (tel 032-632-111) are offering special room rates during the festival.
