Teera Pattanakit Stainless Steel

I have had several jobs done by him--ok I guess. He does not speak English, but has staff that does. His new shop is right opposite the Airport.
Not sure what you are asking with the switches. Are they the ones with the small LED in them?

We got our stainless steel gates and fence inserts from a shop in Pranburi on the west side of the main road just north of the main traffic light (U-turn and pull to the curb and you'll see them.
They did ours for a little more than half the price quoted by the place in Hua Hin on east side Phetkasem road towards the north end of downtown.

HHF is correct
Shop around .Quotes vary a LOT .A few years ago I was quoted 50k for a spiral staircase in metal .I thought it was a tad dear and asked the girls to shop around .Got it for 20k + 2k for rustoleum + 2k labour + 3k for the girls time and expenses . 27k so just over half the original quote .
Although Thais seem to love them ,most stainless steel gates here look a bit Maxine and Boycie to me .Many places are simply agents for the main workshop lumping a cut on top .If you go to the source they will custom design without the markup .Hope this is of help and
HAPPY NEW YEAR to you all .

Ok made a trip down to Pranburi midweek and found the place straight away. Nice big sign in Thai advertising themselves, unfortunetely they have closed down quite a few months ago say the shops either side and the phone number on the big sign errors out.
Anyone got any other suggestions?

Bumping this one.
Any suggestions for a bit of stainless work.
The gaff opposite the airport is extortionate with one woman staff memebr in particular acting like a rotweileer thinking she can get falang prices quoting 17,000 baht a Sq M for the simplest of design. No Max & Boycie

There is a small shop nearly opposite the Isuzu dealer on the way to Cha Am. I know nothing about them, but you get what you pay for. Good luck!JimmyGreaves wrote:Bumping this one.

Cheers Nereus, will check them out. I do realize that you get what you pay for and the quality is probably good opposite the airport but I had this feeling that they were ripping me off. Maybe if I got a different salesperson things may have been different.Nereus wrote:There is a small shop nearly opposite the Isuzu dealer on the way to Cha Am. we got our stainless steel gate from the company that has a small stall outside Home Pro, we were very pleased with the gate - maybe not the cheapest; the electric motor was the main part of the expense though.
I did not reply earlier as we were about to have more work done by the same company and wanted to make sure the quality was still the same and I am pleased to say it is.
The only fault we have found is they need a bit a nagging before anyone comes round to see you about the job but once he does come round the service is fast and efficient.
There is also a gate place on Soi 94 but cannot tell you anything further about them

Very likely a mistake, or the rottweiler was just out to line her own pocket. The owner is an amiable guy, and has done a couple of unusual jobs for me at a reasonable price. I had a 1 meter high fence, complete with two gates and some fancy panels, erected around the swimming pool, for 2600 Baht / metre. Two years ago now, but the price you are quoting is ridiculous.JimmyGreaves wrote:Bumping this one.
