What Does Hua Hin Need?

Post by canthai »

What is Hua Hin lacking in the way of business services? How about an import food & grocery?

What Does HuaHin Need?

As you will see from that link HuaHin is already very well served for food and groceries. Some would say theres too much already, and half the fun is finding the odd things expats crave now and then - or finding alternatives.
Apart from replacing Tesco with a Foodland I think there's now enough food retail. But thats a personal opinion.
'Other' business is limited by Thai law, as you will see by trawling similar topics.

Maybe you could try an optical shop, or a tailor shop run by Indians or Pakistanis... we seem to have a lack of those... :D

Indian restaurant

Post by Chas »

I wish some of those Indians would open an Indian restaurant at the mall.
(Or some Germans would open a German restaurant, or some Italians an Italian restaurant . . at the mall. ( You asked!!)

Yes, I know we have them around town but when I am safely parked at the mall and getting in my shopping, no way am I going to drive to another locale and try to park.

In the interest of time, meeting friends etc. The answer to what will it be tonight? is always . . . Fuji, Yaoyoi or Sizzlers.

2 things I miss when I moved here from a city -
A basic chinese restaurant like Crystal Jade? Simpler and lighter compared to Thai food which is a nice change on some days.
Korean food....

I think a multi storey car park with free shuttle buses is the way to go, possibly put an English only cinema on the top... :thumb:

A decent bar/restaurant/club that appeals to both Thais and westerners .Something like a cross between Bed Supper and Cafe del mar .

That would get my baht on a regular basis .

Guten Tag You'All

I had mentioned this before What I think what Cha Am and the Hua hin region really need is an Oceanic Themed Edutainment Park with real Orcas/Killerwhales, Dolphins, Sea Loins ect. just like Sea World in San Diego or Orlando. and adjacent two Golf courses from the Top Notch Quality.
How does this benefit Hua Hin you might ask?
Well in and around Hua Hin there are a lot of Hotels and Guesthouses with a certain amount of Beds (How many Hotel Beds there are in Hua hin can be researched out by any of you my HHAD Fellas and Homegirls.) The bigger hotels can pick People too and from The Theme Park. while the Taxiies can earn their living. by agreering with the smaller guesthouses to bring and pick them up from the Themepark at a caertain price which satifies every Party involved.

Traffic cops that do not see how far they can back up the traffic before they change the light. Seems to be a competition between them to see who can screw it up the most.

The champion usually seems to be controlling the lights when I go through HH. :cuss: :cuss:
