Bear Eats 5 Puppy Dogs in Hua Hin

Post by Jockey »

A big bear has been roaming about loose in Hua Hin killing dogs and eating them (according to a Thai newspaper) here is a photo of what the bear lloks like

Image

At 6pm yesterday someone phoned the police saying they saw a Asian Black Bear like this walking around the Khao Dang area. At 5am a resident heard dogs screaming and looked out to see the Asian bear eating a puppy. He threw stones at the bear to make it go away but 5 puppy dogs were left dead, some half eaten.

Reports say it is a Glasgow Rangers supporter.

Well you said it looked depressed!
If someone could catch it they could cook it and sell it to Chinese tourists.

Is that there latest way of dealing with stray dogs? Releasing bears!!

Imagine being chased by a full grown grizzly on the way home from the pub. I don't think a simple stick and a few biscuits woud go very far in calming one of those beasties...

The bear would never catch me because it would be slipping and sliding in the slimy brown trail I was leaving behind!

The bears were still in their cages in the zoo when we there a couple of weeks ago. But being squeezed into that tiny container they are in, I'd be pretty cross, hungry and psychotic if I escaped too.

Well I suppose its the natural way of culling a few pooches and controlling the numbers now Dawns HHDR went under.

As long as it doesn't start chewing lumps out of humans then let the bear eat 'cake' is what I say :D

Have we? That's news to me. You'd think the people that gave you that info would bother to tell me, wouldn't you? How inconsiderate of them.
