Unless of course you're playing with the police.

Ooops did I say that out loud. Of course the police wouldn't dream of being involved in a card game.

The police played in Phuket with us which was a little concerning winning money off them as they had guns and were drinking whisky! Like the wild west saloon. Any bars like this in Hua Hin?

Might not be a wise course of action in HH Morganspride, lots of potential for things to go very south. Best policy in general, of course there are exceptions, is to have as little to do with the lower ranking police as possible, everywhere in Thailand. Often the higher ranking ones just talk to you to practice their English and gain face infront of any locals around, so they are less concerning in my eyes, but then I don't gamble etc.

Gambling usually goes off in the back rooms, far away from nosey observers because it's risky stuff here, regardless of what anyone says.

Those that do get involved here with it, it often becomes 'watch your back Jack'. :thumb:
