Yep sad news indeed - a legend. Great Gig in the Sky is one of my all time favourites. He will be missed and I'm one of those privileged to have seen him live.

Just shows that cancer simply does not discriminate and maybe an appropriate time to publicise something I am doing this coming weekend:

I only got into Pink Floyd a few years ago and now enjoy their music so much, awesome musicians.

Will never forget the Live 8 performance - very special - the glances between the guys during the performance showed how much they enjoyed it too.

Sad day for the music world.
