It looks like the motivation of many players got lost, probably in the heat of time of the year, so at this moment it is only a handful of people training every Monday and Thursday, 4 PM - approx. 5 PM at the Kao Takiab pitch. We need people to start training again!!!
Kind regards, see you,
Niels

Kao Takiab pitch. From center of Hua Hin drive Petchkasem Road to the South, in the direction of Pranburi. BEFORE the big fly-over keep to the left; the road in fact goes (more or less) in a straight line to Kao Takiab. After 1,200 - 1,400 meters you will see a football pitch at your right, about 50 meters away from the road.
Google Earth coordinates approx. 12°31'37.45"N and 99°58'12.13"E.
Thanks for your interest, see you,

Remember: every Monday and Thursday, 4 PM untill approx. 5 PM: footie team practice on the Kao Takiab pitch in Hua Hin. Balls, bips (bibs?), cones, etc. present. At 5 PM many Thai players also come along to show us how the game really is played...:-)... Note: most of them are young and very fit! If you can't resist, come and join us!
Second note: In case of rain, one is not allowed to play on the pitch!

Niels

Hi all,
Trying to (re)start again with some serious football training. Idea is to play a friendly match against a local VIP team somewhere in the weekend of 20st/21st or 27th/28th of June (date nor time fixed yet) on the pitch we started on 3 months ago (Nong Plub Road, also known as Pala-U Road, approx. 4 - 5 km West of town).
Before this match we can train one up to a couple of times on Mondays and Thursdays 4 PM at the Kao Takiab pitch. The idea is that we try to get back on the old pitch after the game to train 2 times a week on Mondays (might become Tuesdays) and Thursdays 5 - 6.30 PM.
Cost involved if you want to join the Farang United team: one-time membership fee 1,000 baht, after that a monthly fee of 400 baht. If you like to join in occasionally you'll pay 100 baht a training (50 baht a training for youth). First training (is this really your thing?) is for free. Balls, bips (bibs?), cones, etc. are present, most of the time we have 2 great trainers (one ex-Fifa trainer!) and the spirit was quite high during the first 2 months.
Who feels like playing the friendly match, please add your comment below, send me a PM or give me a call somewhere between 9 AM and 9 PM (0861721120).
Regards,
Niels

Hi All
I've not played since 2003 when i was in the expat team in Korea - was wondering what ages turn out for this, is it youngsters or old guys like myself who get home now and again welcome to pop along and make up the numbers from time to time?
Cheers
Steve
P.S. with the two sons out, i'm sure they'd like to go along and train and have a kick about over the coming early next week.

Hi Steve,
Unfortunately things on the footie front have stopped at the moment. No one (or just one or two) has been coming to training for the last couple of months. Earlier in the year we did have a good few who used to come out and ages ranged from about 15 to 55....so age, young or old is not really an issue.
there are a couple of us who will still try and ressurect things shortly and put a push on getting people out again.
all the best.
