OK, they are vaccines, just sad that they are so damn crappy. Does fit in how things are made now of days, as, if good, you wouldn't have to keep on buying ...

Really wish they'd devote their time and your tax dollars, maybe some of those trillions of profit from these vaccines, on actually solving some other 'children's' health issues, but that wouldn't turn into a trillion $$$ business. Would save about 5+ million kids (2019 stats /WHO) under the age of 5 though, who die .... EVERY YEAR.

Yet no daily headliners for them ... priorities.

So in the context of 4.5 mill of 7.9 billion people dying in the 21 ish months of covid, time for MSM to ease up on the drama, when 5 ish million under 5 yrs old are dying every year. And that's just the ones under 5, from very preventable & treatable ailments. Many from simply not have clean water to drink. How hard would that be to supply ???

I think we'll see this in more and more places going forward.

But don't we need herd immunity by prayut's October 14 date? Or has he abandoned that?

I actually think they've given up on that game. We're now playing the "Learn to live with Covid" game. With Phuket they didn't achieve their 70% for quite a while past Sandbox.

It doesn't work. They can vaccinate 70% of Hua Hin's current population, but when Hua Hin re-opens, how many unvaccinated Thais will come back from Isaan to work?

From a very selfish point of view, I’m hoping that Hua Hin and Cha Am open up by 1st November or before under the “Recharge” scheme, as it will enable me to “quarantine”locally rather than Phuket or dread the thought, Bangkok.

I believe under the 'recharge' system, you'll still be forced into staying at an approved hotel for 14 days even if your home is a spit away.

Yes I appreciate that, but a hotel in Hua Hin is more convenient than a hotel in Phuket, and hopefully my wife will get exemption to visit/stay (after PCR tests) as she’s fully vaccinated.

i saw on TV, last night, that residents of our province can now register for a vaccination at any 7/11. One caveat; you have to go to the province hospital for the shot. They didn't say if non-Thais were eligible.
