Let's see who actually reads this.
Monday through Thursday next week, I'll be sitting in at the Blue Station, just for fun, with the Thai guitar duo (Boo and Mett) who open up the night's show before the house Thai country/rock band comes on. It's sort of "Blue Station Unplugged".
I play Melodica with them, doing old Thai songs, and it actually sounds pretty good (that's why they keep asking me back). The only Farang doing Thai country music around, playing by ear and haven't a clue what the lyrics say. The set starts at 9:30 and goes to 11:00.
Hope to see somebody there. Introduce yourselves.
Interesting music combo

It would be nice if you told us where it is.
Mai Pen Lai, the voice is just another instrument. It does not matter whether or not you understand the lyrics.
I listen and like Thai music.
I only understand a little of what is says. That is true of English singing bands.
