Poor wee thing. It's horrible to see them getting into that state, especially when more than 9 times out of 10, those skin probs can be cured pretty easily & cheaply. And of course it's a vicious circle - they look bad, people won't touch them or give them food, so they get worse.
Anyway, back to photos

Anyway, back to photos

Just back to the dogs, this is one we took in fairly recently (about 2 or 3 months ago). She's not nearly as bad as the pics Buksi or Kelpiekiss showed, but she was lame, skinny & had bad mange. Now she's fully recovered and covered with hair. Doesn't limp either, now.

so what standards are you looking for then jaime?Jaime wrote:
Well, it is a competition. That implies some standards. The comments such as the one I made are only suggestions and any criticism has certainly been constructive - I don't think anyone has said that photo x is shite so I don't understand why so sensitive.
the issue is not about sensitivity.
it's a bit of fun, load your photo, have a vote & maybe a few questions about where & when the pictures were taken.
criticisms about the standards whether constructive or not isn't really expected, nor is it really warranted.
