Can anyone tell me what the above hotel is like, it seems ok from the advert on the web, we are looking at booking a two bedroom with living area in the HH area for October this year if anyone can recommend any other hotels or guest house we would be gratefull........not too expensive but good and clean please!!

I stayed there July 13 to 17. It was okay. I had a single room. The bed was comfortable, the shower worked, and the AC worked.
It was not a luxury room, but it was clean and comfortable. There was some noise between rooms - a group of Russians next door were loud one night, but they did quiet down early.
The desk staff were nice enough. They have safe deposit boxes. The restaurant is "okay" and breakfast is free. The swimming pool was clean and not crowded. The PCs in the lobby had occasional connection problems. Laundry service was very slow.
It's just south of, and across the street from Sofitel. It's a short walk from the Peony to restaurants, shopping, bars, or the beach. I never took a taxi the entire time I was in Hua Hin.
