Grand Hotel car park

Post by caller »

Does anyone know how big this is? Is it possible for anyone to find out? There's a beer (or three) in it! Thanks.

I checked with Sawadee via the link to HHAD and didn't get a response and then emailed the hotel direct but there answer was oblique - yes they have a car park, but how many spaces will I need and when?

I just want to know if the thing is big enough for a 4x4 type of thingy at any time. I don't want any hassle after driving from Korat and I want to be able to come and go as I please.

Does anyone else know of other central hotels that have car parking (not tanawit or PPvillas). As really importantly (being real selfish here), I want to be able to wander into town for a beer, if I'm in the mood (always), without driving. Might even have the step-dad in tow!!

You can work out the budget I am talking about.

Many thanks.

The Grand Hotel car park is behind the hotel. It has a 24 hour guard service and is easily able to handle your 4 x 4 whatever the size. During the Off Road Rally that took place a few months ago, all of the trucks were parked in this car park. Only time to worry about finding a space is Sunday evenings when the Grand Night Market is on.

Many thanks JD.

The car thingy will be firmly parked on a Sunday evening as when there is a market on, there is only one place where my wife will be!!

Seems like a good time to treat the outlaw to that beer!

Apologies for late thanks, just had a very enjoyable and boozy Saturday night in Hampshire with a couple of other Thai/Brit couples.
