Hi drzap,

Welcome to the forum. I've never used the City Beach, so can't comment on what its like, although many have in the past. All I will say is that it is very central to most things, and there is plenty of motor cycle rental within a few hundred yards. Those that have commented previously can be seen in these links:

thanx for the info. i was looking for a little more "out of the beaten track" places. the ones you cant find on the sites. like the hidden, almost forgotten temple on a hilltop i visited in phuket. a 3h trek on small forest paths and the only tourist there was me.

You may find that secret and hidden places are no longer secret when posted on a website

Or perhaps there are no off the beaten track places in Hua Hin, it just has two tracks, north to south and out west to the 400 baht waterfall.

i did not suggest to post them here, a pm should be sufficent. and yes, if someone have any suggestions they want to share i surely not tell anyone else. like a couple of hidden gems i visited in phuket.

Sweet, nice one BaaBaa.... :D
seriously though I have cycled around the Hua Hina rea in great depth and have only found the usual haunts. There is a rather unusual Muslim village not too far from Hua Hin (no dogs, very strange) and a mosque. If your into that sort of thing....?
