Kayaking in and around Hau Hin area ?

So what is going on around here and where does it happen? This section is for discussion on local events, festivals, and holidays as well as activities and things to do.

Are there any "Kayakers" living in the area of Hau Hin? Sometime in the not so far off future, we will be moving to Hau Hin area, and I would like to find people who are interested in ocean kayaking.
I would like to hear about the area and where there are good places to paddle, also to get to know you all.

There are some nice mangrove areas around Pak Nam Pran that are very suitable for kayaking.

We have 1 x 2-seater and 2 x 3-seater sit-on kayaks.
They are built of fibre glass and we had them made in Pattaya last year.
2-seater approx. THB 10,000, 3-seater approx. THB 15,000.
Good double-bladed paddles then cost around THB 1500 each

If anyone wants to come down here and take a look or try one out - be my guest!
