Average Age?

Post by PeteC »

Reading the posts the last few months from many new posters who are turning into regulars on here, I get the feel that poster average age is increasing. Not a surprise if this forum is attracting more people nearing retirement age. So, below is a poll. Let's see where we stand. Pete

You can look at this from a marketing perspective also Buksi. Pete

I just finished watching Walt Disney's 1950's Dumbo movie (in Thai) for the 43rd time with my 2 year old.

She's now convinced elephants can fly, although I told her that's only American elephants, not Thai due to lack of spare parts.

My average mental age is decreasing, and that's a good thing! :D Pete

I find it offensive in the extreme that anyone should wish to know my age (why isn't there an emoticon for 'quivering indignantly? mods, please note), and I'm certainly not divulging it here. Tsk.

Bit surprised to see you're a year younger than me, lomu.

Oh blast and damn.

As my father used to say 'I'm as old as my tongue, but a little younger than my teeth'.

Just over halfway between Dawn and DM. Been living here for nearly 10 years.

My goodness DM - are you really that old?

Certainly old enough that I have to work it out occasionally.

Anyway, VS, it's about time you got rid of that young trollop's photo as your avatar and showed us what you're really made of.

P.S. My father used to say the same thing, but I later found out he was lying through his... erm... teeth, as they were all false, and probably about 50 years younger than him.
