With so few seats, you may not get a table when you get back.

I didn't. We must have left there about 1:30, and it was still available then.

The one thing I forgot to mention yesterday, and it really was a huge elephant in the corner of the room - the annoying piped music that seemed to be on a 20 second (or less) loop. We've probably all moaned about piped music in supermarkets, but I think whatever they are playing in Big C Marche has been expertly designed to get customers out of the shop as fast as possible. There was one dead area, where you couldn't hear it, and that was the seating area near the bread - it was such a relief to get that sound out of your head. Certainly not enjoy your food background noise.

Had you ever mentioned them as a breakfast joint? If you had, I was totally unaware.

Just tried a new breakfast at IQ cafe (soi 94, next door to Golden Break). They had both British and American breakfasts. I tried the British one. It tasted fine but the style was very American. It was served with both bacon and ham and the bacon was American (i.e. very thin). It was also served with a salad which was nice but unexpected. 2 eggs, 2 slices of bacon, 1 slice of ham, 2 slices of toasted brown bread with butter, baked beans and a glass of orange juice. 180 Baht.

I'm curious as to why you only rated it as 'decent'?

Because it looks very good from the photo. But looks can be deceiving...

Please expand a little thanks
