I don't know how much business The Lodge has already, a very nice restaurant. Hopefully his well-known presence can attract more custom to that place.
I’ve driven by the cafe several times, but have never stopped in. I do need to book an appointment at the spine clinic, so maybe I will stop in then.
I find his high end steaks as good, and better, than anywhere around. He is brother to Prime Steakhouse. I ordered a 4 bone prime rib from him last Christmas, it was as good as any prime rib in the states.

A very nice upscale restaurant is NAGA on Soi 90. Was previously called Le Jardin

Excellent food and not silly prices

A good replacement for Flavours on Phetkasem Road which closed a few months ago

See Google maps for more info

Could have been but I'm not sure

It was certainly Le Jardin before it was Naga

As you know it gets very little passing trade. Great spot to live too, so quiet

Payoon cafe is moving to the old S&S Indian restaurant on the corner of Soi 75/1 and Phetkasem Road opp Bangkok Hospital

Payoon are currently directly behind Condo Chain on the little sois that take you to the beach and kite surfing schools(search Google maps)

I visit there often. I've not mentioned them on the English breakfast thread as they don't do sausages bacon etc but they do a cracking omelette which is a good substitute and it's local for me.

They may lose a bit of business from beach goers but may gain some from the newly extended Bangkok Hospital as there is a pedestrian crossing right outside.

Parking is available directly behind in kite surf car park but uncertain whether it's free?

^Yes, it's good value for local dishes, I've often eaten lunch there with a friend who lives in Condo Chan.

Hi :thumb:

Good news for folks on north side of town, or anywhere in Hua Hin. :D

"Mom" who was the owner of "Mom's Kitchen" in soi 6 until she sold it as a going concern a few months ago, has opened a new restaurant.

It is called Mom's Station and is located close to soi 2 on the "canal road". Coming from the Cha-Am (Palm Hills) direction heading towards town, go straight on at the traffic lights at the top of soi 2. Mom's Station is approximately 100 metre along on the left hand side.

There is a car park just before the restaurant.

They do have a facebook page and the address if that helps anybody to find it
16/337 บ่อฝ้าย ตะวันทอง ซ.2, Hua Hin, Thailand, Prachuap Khiri Khan

I forgot to check, but I'm pretty sure she will be closed on Sundays.

P.S. I forgot to say, I have no financial interest in this restaurant. I am just a very satisfied customer of Mom's for many a year!

Same here! We go there about twice a month and the food is always good. No gourmet place but good food at a good price.

Does anybody know what has happened to Charcoal Grill? I drove past yesterday, and it looked as though some intensive building work was going on. I tried to order tonight, but they are closed.

The place has only been open a few months, so shouldn't need a refurbishment yet. I was wondering if it suffered storm damage Saturday night.

Just leaving Emmas Italian on Soi 88 on my scooter with my takeaway pizza tonight and bumped (not literally) into Andy the Baker from Andreannas crossing the road, latterly trading from the ugly coloured condo in Khao Takiab.

Good news he's just opened today on Soi 88 diagonally opposite Emmas Italian, only spoke briefly as we were dodging traffic but he said his deli operation would open next week, not sure about his superb Sunday roast, breads and pies etc, need to visit and check when he's fully operational.

This is a 2nd shop, not a move from the ugly coloured condo in Khao Takiab.
