I received my first request from DWP to prove I'm still breathing. Been sitting in my PO Box for months as I wasn't expecting it. Thankfully they didn't stop payments yet.
I'm only (only ) 68 and receiving payments for two years, have they started sending these letters to all expat pensioners now, I though it only came when you were older?
It's easy enough - just go to the police station in the centre of town. It takes a couple of minutes, and I think they are the cheapest anyway. Then just walk over the road, and post it right away.
I've had to do the USA version for more years than I can remember now. No witnessing needed, just a signed form that you're still alive and no personal info has changed.

LOL, if you hadn't noticed, you are older now
Yes, I'm 69 and have received a couple now.

OK thanks, I had thought from what I read before that it was an occasional thing which also only happens well after pensionable age.
My local GP surgery charges 300 Baht, I'm sure there's cheaper. I went early before surgery so no waiting at all and a sub-post office is close to my house, I stay out of town when I can!
Company directors are usually accepted as witnesses. One of my neighbours and I would sign each other's forms as we both hold properties within Thai companies and are directors of those companies. We would always use company stamps alongside our signatures. Never had any queries from the pension authorities .
