Thap Lan National Park in Nakhon Ratchasima Province has announced a complete closure of all park areas from February 3 until April. No one is allowed to forage in the forest during this period. Violators will face immediate legal consequences. Meanwhile, officials are trying to control forest fires in the border area between Pak Thong Chai and Khon Buri districts.
The challenges in controlling the forest fire situation around Khao Takud Rang mountain are due to the mountainous terrain with steep slopes, making it difficult to access the area.
Additionally, some parts of the area are military training grounds, which may contain explosives or other hazards that officials are concerned about when carrying out firefighting missions, as they fear potential dangers.
