Just watching a show and a very bizarre contraption came to light! Very well known to those in the "industry", but less so to us mere mortals - don't read too much into that comment!!

As with the "History Thread", perhaps we could continue....?

Anywho, can you guess what this is (no searching via Google etc)?

It's a "Headpiece", but with a practical use rather than anything else - certainly not fashion....

[EDIT] This "Headpiece" can (and is) worn by either sex for their duties...

Perhaps the cap they use in electrocutions. Soak it with water, place it on the condemned person's head before attaching the electrode?
