What The Hell Is This?...
Just watching a show and a very bizarre contraption came to light! Very well known to those in the "industry", but less so to us mere mortals - don't read too much into that comment!!
As with the "History Thread", perhaps we could continue....?
Anywho, can you guess what this is (no searching via Google etc)?

It is quite clearly a hat designed for Ascot. Or a contraceptive device. Or a UFO.

A hemorrhoid cushion?

It's a "Headpiece", but with a practical use rather than anything else - certainly not fashion....
[EDIT] This "Headpiece" can (and is) worn by either sex for their duties...

Aha! A major giveaway! It's an alien abduction preventer, which doubles as protection against distance mindreading/brainwashing by the Russians, issued to front line Ukrainian troops.

Perhaps the cap they use in electrocutions. Soak it with water, place it on the condemned person's head before attaching the electrode?

Well, I can certainly see how you'd want some form of protection if you were going to have birds of prey landing on your head!

The "Landing" would be the least of your concerns....dtaai-maai wrote: ↑Wed Dec 04, 2024 7:33 pm Well, I can certainly see how you'd want some form of protection if you were going to have birds of prey landing on your head!![]()

I shan't say the name the hat's been given in the article I read. It's a little vulgar, even for the hhforum.
