Kari - Hua Hin Golf Shop

Post by craighuahin »

I visited my fav golf shop along the train line near the station today. I asked to see the owner who I've met each time I come to Hua Hin - Gerry. Only to hear the devastating news that he was involved in a bike / scooter accident around new years and passed away, so I am told. He was such a treasure, walm, kind and full of enthusiastic advice on all things golf and Hua Hin in general. I loved the gear he set me up with, including priceless restored clubs.

I understand his partner is now running the shop along with a young man (family friend). I can't imagine the loss they must be dealing with, this is such deeply sad news!

The main reason I'm posting is to the simply ask that this forum & community try and support them and their business into the future. Sure, his golf expertise will be missed but their friendly service, great equipment are still there - in a quirky shop well worth a visit. Please please offer support where you can?

Ah Kari, thanks for the correction, it's been a while - I'm not great with names.

Can someone please edit the original post with the correct name? I can't see an option to do it myself.

Kari was a good friend of mine from my Hua Hin days. Hopefully his business and legacy will go on. Thank you for all of you who support his wife and her business.
