Steady.... I was only being sarcastic  :D

But actually yes, I did watch both games - despite not being the biggest of fans (but hey, it was Wales after all). I thought Wales actually played well against Turkey (well, better than they have done so in quite some time) - we're not exactly a huge footballing nation and to be fair Turkey were Quarter Finalists in the Euro's.

The conditions during the Montenegro match were atrocious, a literal flooded pitch. Thankfully Wales shot out of the blocks and were two up inside 3 minutes - from then on I don't think either side could truly play due to the conditions, but we hung on. I don't expect any miracles, but we haven't lost under Bellamy yet!!

What a dismal performance by England against Greece - no passion, very little skill and lack of penetration. Other than Bellingham’s goal, there was absolutely nothing positive to say!!

Me too. I think this is whole competition is just dumb. There is too much international football.

Whilst I don’t disagree, you’d still expect the England players to give it their all - last night it was their 50% (at best)!!

Tonight's game against Finland is at a reasonable K.O. time i.e. 23:00. My beauty sleep will not be too harshly affected by it.

This weekend has been terrible without any football to watch. I'm getting so desperate, I'm contemplating switching the Hua Hin City game on at 4:30.

I’m still in the UK so my biggest dilemma is deciding whether to eat before or after the game (or quickly at half time) - although if they play as bad as last time I might turn the TV off at half time!!

A fairly unforgettable first half but at least England lead by one goal to nil, courtesy of a Jack Grealish goal - hopefully the second half will be better, but don’t hold your breath!!

Christ, and I thought Wales' 2-2 Draw against Iceland was crap.... The Three Kittens 1-2 loss against Greece and a (potential) 1-1 Draw with Finland, Hmmm. Anywho, I shall continue with rugby highlights whilst popping in to extract the urine. :neener: :duck:

Utter balderdash. Pull yourself together, man, you clearly know as little about association football as you do about rugby. This was a magnificent performance by a vastly superior England team.

And stop bothering me with silly little messages on WhatsApp. Does anyone know if there's a 'block' option? <sigh>

I had decided not to watch, I expected disaster, but as I was about to turn out my bedside light I thought I'd watch on my phone at around 55 minutes into the game, I saw it was 1-0. Not a good tally for 55 minutes against Finland.

I watched England have a full 5 minutes of unchallenged possession, tip tap, tip tap, tip tap. Absolutely unable to even get the ball to the wing to make a cross. Finland finally won the ball and quickly crossed from the left wing for their man to miss an absolute sitter over the bar.

I turned off and went to sleep.

I had the game on, and despite the great expectations of this weekend's footie fix, couldn't stop myself from drifting off to sleep. I was awake for the goals though, so I guess my brain was in highlights mode :D
