Usyk is stellar and a great champion, but I want to see Fury win because I support a British boxer, always. If he gets his Irish citizenship I'll naturally change my thoughts. And his thuggish retinue (family) aren't a good look, as bad as some of the Yanks, but even so. If he was Welsh I wonder if you'd be playing a different tune?
Usyk is a hell of a boxer (rather than fighter) - of course I appreciate your thoughts regarding supporting Brits, but at the end of the day the guy is a clown and an embarrassment (outside of the ring at least). And actually, I'd be embarrassed if he was Welsh - we have enough idiots of our own!

For locals, I've seen some bars are opening early for the event (4am I think). You'll be able to transfer that £30 into breakfast, beer and have some change
Well I shan't be paying the £30, but I do remember watching some great early morning Heavyweight Boxing during my time(s) in Thailand - Holyfield vs Tyson comes to mind! 6am in Bangkok - a slightly alcoholic breakfast before returning to Rayong ready for work the following day. Cracking place it was too - "New Orleans" maybe "Old"... Something Square. Anywho, good times!!

I can remember watching Muhammad Ali (Cassius Clay in those days) against Henry Cooper back in 1963 when Cooper managed to put Ali on the floor and he (or his corner) managed to damage his gloves, giving him time to recover before going on to beat Cooper after a bad cut to his eye - almost certainly it was on BBC and free to view!!
Damn, I woke up too late to see the Kabayel fight which I really wanted to watch. He's now mandatory to fight Fury. Cordina just lost his two super-featherweight belts, a perfect left hook from Cacace in the 3rd was the beginning of the end, ref stopped it in the 7th. The Irishman has his game on. He said he only wants to fight in KSA now, not in UK. I wonder why $$$$
Opetaia/Bredis cruiserweight rematch up now. I don't know much about that. Then the big one.
Well that was one hell of a fight despite Fury's (obnoxious at times) showboating - he really doesn't do it well and to be honest it makes him look more of a clown. If he could only just keep it to boxing....
Personally I had Usyk well ahead on points - probably 3 - 3 after the first 6 Rounds, but Usyk took 4 of the next 6 including 1 in which Fury was given a standing count. One Judge agreed, the other 2 incredibly split with only 1 point separating the fighters on each scorecard. It would have been a bloody travesty if the result had gone Fury's way.
Of course there's a rematch clause in Fury's contract so there's (possibly) another MEGA Million $ Payday coming (October mentioned). However, neither need the money, both pushing 40 - I don't think Fury can come back and Usyk has absolutely nothing left to prove. Will we see Joshua fighting for the title(s) again in the not too distant future?

I watched from round 1 on Big Boy's link (excellent, thanks!) and have never seen either fighter before. Fury looked real tired throwing weak punches
for points and using his reach. Like Pharvey I had Osyk well ahead.

I’m sure the lure of another big payday will be too much to resist, I mean another $60-70m goes a long way in retirement (as challenger he probably won’t get quite as much as the $100m he got last night)!!

Fury only held 1 of the 4 titles for this fight and yet commanded (or rather demanded) a 70:30 split in the purse - and as you say a reputed US$100 Million. He certainly won't get the same (split) for a rematch, but still multi-millions regardless. He probably doubled his net worth last night which must now be in the US$200 Million plus bracket - how much do you need in retirement?
The guy believed he was hard done by last night even blaming the Ukrainian War and "people" (aka the Judges) voting for the Ukrainian out of sympathy (tw@t). In the cold light of day he'll be hit with a hard dose of realism, and should take what he's got and go away quietly. Then again, this is Fury - he doesn't seem to do realism and certainly doesn't do quiet...

Well, it seems the Heavyweight Belts may not be unified or Usyk "Undisputed Champion" for long.... Unbelievable

I agree with pharvey's scoring, I don't what the judge who gave it to Fury was smoking. A great fight, I think the real problem is that Fury doesn't really care enough about winning nowadays, I've seen interviews where he clearly says that boxing isn't the main factor in his life, and I don't think that's playacting. But neither of them got beaten up a lot, and he will carry on of course. He let the fight slip away, allowing Usyk to throw first in every round he lost and let Usyk establish the pattern of the round, where Fury kept up the jab non-stop he won. I think his determination has gone.

A little extra on this: -
"Usyk is set to be the undisputed heavyweight champion for only a matter of the weeks.
He is expected to be stripped of his IBF title, with the 37-year-old instead focusing on a contracted rematch with Fury, which is expected to take place around October.
This is because Filip Hrgovic, Usyk's mandatory challenge for the IBF title, won't wait for that rematch to take place, meaning the IBF belt will be vacated by Usyk and then up for grabs when the Hrgovic takes on Daniel Dubois in June of this year.
Whoever wins in that June bout is then expected to face Anthony Joshua at Wembley in September."
